It is no secret that I really love using Stitch Fix for my own wardrobe. I love the surprises, the clothes, the fact that I can try new outfits on in my own home, really everything.  I finally convinced my husband that it would be fun to try Stitch Fix Mens and see what new pieces he might get.

If you are not familiar with Stitch Fix, after filling out an online survey, you get 5 clothing items (or accessories or shoes) shipped to your house to try on in your own home, each with recommended styling options. You can get full details on how Stitch Fix works in this post.

Jeremy has to dress in business casual attire for work, but at home is more of a shorts and T-shirt kind of guy. Since dress clothes definitely get used, he decided to request one dressier outfit and one more casual outfit. He also asked for his stylist to include some cool shoes. Let’s check out what he got!

Fairlane & Sons | Easy Care Dress Shirt | XL | $48

This shirt was really perfect for Jeremy to wear to work. Although he has similar shirts, he wears them a lot and could always use new prints in the rotation. The fit was good, and I also thought the price point was great.

DL1961 | Vince Straight Leg Pant | $125

There were a few of things we really liked about these pants. One, they were nice enough to pass as work pants without being “dress pants”. However, you could also wear them with a T-shirt and dress them down. Two, the fit looked great. Three, they were super comfortable and had a little bit of stretch.

These are definitely more than I prefer us to pay for pants, but I do think he would get a lot of wear out of them.

Karl Lagerfeld Paris | Keith Studded Oxford | Black | $150

These shoes were….fine. They were standard black dress shoes. Jeremy typically prefers brown shoes to black, and they didn’t have anything extraordinary about them making them extra trendy or stylish. These were probably the least favorite item in this fix.

Hawker Rye | Essential Wash Stretch Short Sleeve Shirt | XL | $55

From far away, this shirt just looks green.  Upon closer look you can see that it actually has a white and teal green pattern. I really liked this shirt and thought it was a nice casual option. Jeremy didn’t like it at first, but I think it grew on him when he tried it on and put it with the shorts that also came in this fix.

Burnside | Flynn Hybrid Short | Grey | $44

These shorts had a cool looking grey pattern, were comfortable and fit well. Jeremy probably has 6 pairs of grey shorts, but he has so many because he wears grey A LOT. These really fit right in with his style. Also, being hybrid shorts they are quick dry and can be worn as regular shorts or for swimming, too.

So, what do you think? What would you choose to keep if you were Jeremy? Have you tried Stitch Fix for men (or for your hubby)?
