Peter Pan Party: Never Grow Up!

We are so excited to share Kellen’s third birthday party theme this year: Peter Pan Never Grow Up party!

Theme parties are one of my most favorite things ever. I honestly secretly wish I was a party planner for my career with the fun I have planning, executing, and throwing theme parties! We have had fun with a Taco TWO-sday and Under the Sea Mermaid party in the past and are excited to share our most recent fun!

I feel like time is barreling forward and can hardly believe our youngest is already THREE. [Cue the tears.] This made the Never Grow Up party the most perfect theme! I wish I could stop time and we could all Never Grow Up!

Peter Pan Party: Decorations

A few really fun touches made this Never Grow Up party theme really stand out!

I don’t have photos of everything, but here is what we did [with links if they are still available!]:

• We always are “part” of the decoration plan by dressing like the theme, so we decided to all wear “Never Grow Up” shirts for this party [women’s shirt, men’s shirt and kiddo shirts shown, but we got the kid’s ones in green]

• Kellen wore a super cute Peter Pan outfit with matching hat

• Gold Stars on a string around the front door and around each room entry

• Three HUGE gold balloons tied to our banister

• Super cute food table with a Peter Pan banner and Never Grow Up sign [more on how we made the banner and back drop in a minute]
• Indian Camp tent with real wood log seats

The Peter Pan banner was handmade using gold glitter cardstock cut to look like banner flags, jute string, and Peter Pan and feather cut outs we bought from this super cute Etsy shop.

For the food table, we used grass like tablecloths, a fake grass “rug” hung behind the table and the words “Never Grow Up” cut in gold glitter cardstock using my Silhouette cutting system.

Peter Pan Party: Favors

We love to make favors part of the party as well as something you can take home [because let’s be honest, this might be the only use they get before something better comes along!].

When the kiddos arrived, they were encouraged to “Choose a Character” and become either a Tinkerbell/Fairy or a pirate.

Before leaving, the kiddos got a treasure chest filled with secret treasure chest keys, chocolate gold coins, a working compass, and a treasure map!

Peter Pan Party: Food

The Peter Pan party food was all according to theme and included:

• Peter Pan Pizza (from our local pizza place)
• Lost Boys Trail Mix
• Tick Tock Crock Crunch (Veggies)
• Fairy Fruit
• Pirate’s Booty
• Tick Tock Crock Gummies
• Pixie Stix
• Pirate Punch (Red Koolaid)
• Pixie Punch (Green Koolaid)
• Mermaid Lagoon Water
• Homemade Tinkerbell and Captain Hook Cupcakes (Cupcake Foils, Pirate Flags and Tinkerbell cupcake toppers)

Peter Pan Party: Games

The Peter Pan party games included:

• Make A Pirate sticker fun
• Treasure Hunt with buried treasure in a vat of sand
• Walk the Plank [baby pool filled with water, 2×6 over the top, and a floating Tick Tock Crock]
• Pirate Photo Booth [Pirate masks]
• Fly Like Peter trampoline challenge
• Captain Hook pretzel pick up [Hooks]
